Our story

1988

INGAR is founded in New Delhi, distributing connectors and cable assemblies to defence, aerospace, telecommunications and industrial automation.

2005

A collaboration begins with JONHON Optronic Technology Co., Ltd, bringing world-class connection technology to Indian industry.

2010

INGAR becomes one of India’s largest suppliers of connectors and cable harnesses to the telecom power sector.

2017

An early entry into India’s EV ecosystem. INGAR begins manufacturing the chargers, connectors and cable assemblies fitted inside the country’s first electric vehicles.

2025

Growth in the EV sector takes INGAR past five locations across India, spanning offices, warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

Today

INGAR manufactures across its own facilities in India and leads the market in many of the products we supply — still measured by quality and the service we give our customers.
